FAQ

Each event has a specific dress code listed on its detail page — from black tie (Bond) to 1920s formal (Gatsby). Guests who do not meet the dress code may be refused entry without refund.

No — all casino events are strictly 18+. Valid photo ID is checked at the door. There are no exceptions, including for accompanied minors.

On-site parking is available at all venues. Event tickets sometimes include a parking voucher — check your confirmation email. Valet service is available for an additional fee.

All tickets include welcome drinks and canapés. Multi-course dinners are included in premium packages (Gatsby Gala, High Rollers Weekend). Additional bar tabs are at guest expense.

Single-evening events run approximately 4–5 hours (e.g. 7:00 pm–midnight). High Rollers Weekend spans two nights with structured programming across Friday, Saturday and a farewell brunch on Sunday.

Tickets are non-transferable unless approved in writing at least 48 hours before the event. The substitute guest must meet age and dress-code requirements and present valid ID.

18+ Only

All casino events are strictly for persons aged 18 years and over. Valid photo ID required at entry.

Event participation rules

  • Tickets are personal and must match the name on your ID.
  • Intoxicated or disruptive guests may be removed without refund.
  • Gaming chips issued for entertainment cannot be exchanged for cash outside event terms.
  • Management reserves the right to alter the program due to operational or safety requirements.

Personal belongings

The venue and Short Waypoint are not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged personal items. Cloakroom facilities are available; valuables should be kept on your person or deposited at the cloakroom desk.

Photo & video policy

  • Personal photography is permitted in designated areas only.
  • Professional cameras and flash photography are prohibited on the gaming floor.
  • Official event photographers may capture images for promotional use — opt out at registration if preferred.

Refunds & cancellations

  • Full refund if cancelled more than 14 days before the event.
  • 50% refund between 7–14 days before; no refund within 7 days.
  • Events cancelled by the organiser receive a full refund or transfer to the next available date.

Legal restrictions

All events operate under applicable state gaming and liquor licences. Self-excluded persons are not permitted to attend. Short Waypoint acts as a booking agent; gaming is operated by the licensed venue.

Responsible gambling

  • Set a budget before you play and never exceed it.
  • Do not borrow money to gamble or chase losses.
  • Take breaks and use venue self-exclusion tools if needed.
  • Staff are trained to assist guests showing signs of harm.
